The Official Blog of Zak Woods' Battle Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma
We knew it was just a matter of time until some of the side effects kicked in. Boy did they kick in last night. Zak became very ill shortly after we got home from treatment. He will not be attending school today – which is a first for him (besides the days he has treatment). His body is definitely in need of rest and hydration.

I’m sorry to hear that Traci and Zak. Hope this is just a bump in the road to a full and complete recovery. As always we are thinking of you guys and are here for you.

Zak, you are fighting a battle and you will suceed as you do in everything else. Think of it a your own personal football game. You are strong of mind and spirit and that is what it takes to win this game. Our entire family and group of friends are fighting right next to you. We will carry you if you need us to with our loving thoughts and prayers. I know it is really tough but you are a “warrior” and a “champion”. So is your mom so listen to her. Sue, Tom, Colleen & Pat Traci, if you need anything, you know where I am.
One day at a time…………. was our motto. There were good and bad days! Hope your starting to feel a little better tonight Zak!!
